O'Donnell & Sons asphalt
facility supplies hot-mix asphalt for a wide range of public and
private projects. Our Astec Double Barrel plant produces anywhere
from 100 to 400 tons of hot-mix asphalt per hour. It also has the
ability to recycle old asphalt pavement to be used in certain mixes
and has the capability to "burn" fuel-contaminated soil
into clean, useable soil. We are one
 of the few companies in eastern
Kansas with this capability. Since 1999, our facility has received
an annual "Diamond Achievement Award" for excellence in
hot-mix asphalt plant/site operations by the National Asphalt
Pavement Association. This shows the community that we will go the
extra mile for excellence. It is a privilege we hope to maintain for
many years to come.
Our second and newest hot mix asphalt facility is located in Shawnee, Kansas.
Astec Industries also manufactured this plant rated at 425 tons per
